LINE COOK- Full Time
The Kitchen team is responsible for the smooth professional service and preparation of all food throughout the Emerson Resort and Spa. The role of the Line Cook is to prepare culinary items to chef and customer satisfaction and to execute the menu, ensuring a high level of performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Guest satisfaction in our restaurants revolves around the food appearance, high quality of the food, and overall dining experience.High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two-year degree in culinary arts preferred. Prior line cook experience is required. Qualified candidates must have a strong background in the food service industry.
HOUSEKEEPER – Full & Part Time
The Emerson housekeeping team is responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the Emerson Resort & Spa. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring all rooms and assigned areas are cleaned in a timely manner in accordance with the company and departmental policies and procedures. Flexible working hours including weekends and holidays required
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST- Weekends
The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to meet the needs of our guests. Thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, a general understanding of body treatments, and willingness / ability to learn our spa-specific massage and body treatment offerings is required. Weekends and holidays required. Required license or certification: NYS Massage Therapy
The Emerson Resort & Spa located in Mt. Tremper, NY is looking to hire certifiedlifeguardsduring the months of May-October. The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all Emerson Guests enjoying our pool area. Additional Duties include but are not limited to picking up towels and communicating with the Laundry Department when towel amounts are running low, arranging pool furniture and chairs back in a neatly order, and checking that all pool guests have a pool pass or spa membership. Lifeguard and CPR certification is required.
