Pool Days and Old Time Games
Our pool opens daily, weather permitting, from Memorial Day to Labor Day at 10 am and closes at 6 pm. If you would prefer playing a game of volleyball, horseshoes, frisbee or cornhole head over to the Emerson Park after checking out the equipment of your choice from the front desk and have fun! Grandpa and Grandma will love getting to spend time playing traditional games with their kids and grandkids on a beautiful Catskill summer day not to mention the scenery of one of the best resorts in NY!
Paws Welcome at one of the best resorts in NY
No one likes to miss out on the family vacation, especially not a man’s best friend! Unlike most resorts in NY, Emerson Resort & Spa allows dogs. In fact, we recommend you bring your four-legged friend so they can sit, stay and play at our Catamount Dog Park, which features a large fenced-in field with a dog run, doggy shower, fresh running water, as well as a special section for small dogs. Your pet will love running, relaxing and making friends with other furry guests in this open space designed especially for them!
Art Workshop at Emerson
Join us for a unique outdoors art workshop, the Light on the Esopus Creek workshop will help you learn how to translate to canvas the light changes that occur throughout the day in the Catskills area. Students will start painting at different times of day as light changes. If you’d rather work on our Autumn Reflections package, you’ll love the Esopus Creek workshop, which focuses on the spectacular color relationships between water, land, and sky as you observe the Catskill Mountains in October. You won’t find anything like these painting packages at other resorts in NY!
