Dogs Are Welcome at Our Pet-Friendly Resort!

At The Emerson, we believe your best friend deserves a vacation too! Our pet-friendly resort welcomes well-behaved dogs with open arms, providing comfortable accommodations, special amenities, and plenty of space to play.

Dog-Friendly Accommodations

We offer designated dog-friendly rooms in both The Inn and The Lodge. Be sure to inform your Reservations Agent at the time of booking so we can ensure you and your furry friend are placed in a dog-friendly room.

Our Pet Policy

  • We welcome quiet, well-behaved dogs.
  • A $60 per dog, per night fee applies.
  • Proof of current rabies and distemper vaccinations is required prior to check-in.
  • Dogs may not be left unattended in the room.
  • A $250 deep cleaning fee may be charged if necessary.
  • Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their dog(s).
  • Dogs and emotional support animals are not permitted in the pool area, The Emerson Spa, or Catamount restaurant. (We do have seasonal outdoor seating at Catamount where your dog is welcome to join you for a meal.)
  • Reasonable accommodations are made for trained service animals.

The Emerson Resort Dog Park

Let your pup run free in our dedicated fenced-in dog park! This 60-foot wide by 100-foot long area features a dog run, a doggy shower, fresh running water, and a special section for small dogs. It’s the perfect place for your pet to exercise, socialize, and unwind.
