Did you know The Emerson has its own apiary? Just across Route 28 in our gardens, our honeybees produce the raw honey you’ll find on our shelves. Unlike standard processed honey, raw honey retains its natural vitamins, essential minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients for a nutritional boost.
The Emerson honeybees are the generous gift of Jennifer Christie, an architect-turned-beekeeper who lovingly tended her bees on the farm she owned with her husband. After selling the farm in 2023, the bees were carefully relocated to their new home at The Emerson, where Jennifer continues to care for the hives and prepare each year’s harvest. A truly local treasure, Emerson Honey makes a perfect gift for the season.
Grey Mouse Farm
Based in Saugerties, Grey Mouse Farm Foods is a beloved local producer known for hand-crafted, all-natural pantry staples. Their collection includes pickles, relishes, jams, mustards, sauces, and snacks, all made with ingredients sourced from five nearby orchards and other regional growers.
